That's an unclear description, I'm afraid. I wanted to say that it is
the format of the report required by the user. I've just dropped the
word "required".

This is a little tricky. There are general options to cover, and each
report can take extra options specific to the report. Unknown options
are passed though to the report for it to deal with. I probably need to
completely overhaul how that works, but for now I've just changed the
error message to something hopefully a little more clear.
