The (first) example gives me an "Error: 404 Not Found" I guess the Google API URL has changed...

Do you mean the online example at http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~nmueller/fsbo_open_houses.pl or something else? It might have just been a server outage -- seems to be working now. Let me know if that's not what you mean and I'll take another look.

No problem. I'm not surprised about the failure then -- WebService::GoogleMaps hasn't been updated in a long time and is probably still trying to use the v1 API (if that). You might want to check out HTML::GoogleMaps instead, but best of luck either way. --Nate
