CLIENTE Solaris 8 Perl 5.8.7 DBI 1.50 DBD::ORACLE 1.16 Oracle Client 8.1.7.4 DATABASE HOST (remoto) Solaris 8 Oracle 8.1.7.4 Oracle 9i - (utilizada por la aplicación con problemas) Oracle 10g La aplicación usa la base de datos 9i , si uso el listener 9 funciona correctamente, pero si uso el listener 10g me da el siguiente error Message: Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-12705 (DBD ERROR: OCISessionBegin) Cual es el problema?

This sort of error report happend when one can connect to the DB but not resolve the Db name. So chalk it up to some sort of config error.
