Subject: Daemon.pm can't create a unix socket
# mp3 add ./RunLinspireSong.mp3 Unknown file or folder at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/MP3/Daemon.pm line 84. mp3.pid file is correctly created with proper pid-number but no mp3_socket $conf_dir is pointing to /tmp/.mp3 and is world writable. #ls -ld /tmp/.mp3 drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 4096 jun 9 00:20 /tmp/.mp3 drwxrwxrwt 14 root root 4096 jun 9 00:20 /tmp Other info: This is perl, v5.8.8 built for i386-linux-thread-multi Linux 2.6.16-1.2122_FC5 #1 Sun May 21 15:01:01 EDT 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux (Fedora FC5 with latest updates and perl installs)
