Subject: Passwords over 8 characters cause Crypt::DES to error
a password of over 8 letters in length will cause an error: Invalid key at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/i386-linux/Crypt/DES.pm line 47. Perhaps convert to use Crypt::CBC instead?
