It looks like Alient::wxWidgets FINALLY works on Windows (when you say
yes to "build wxWidgets?" :)
Which means next my attention turns to Wx itself.
It doesn't detect the version that it installed itself, and it should.

I'm not sure what is involved in this, but it should be able to find
it's own install.
