Subject: POE dependancy
POE dependancy added by the new features makes the module rather heavier than I want. It would be better if the POE features could be abstracted out into some form of addon, rather than being in the core. For now I am going to drop down to 0.05

could you try this tarball? http://taint.org/xfer/2006/IPC-DirQueue-0.07.tar.gz if it works for you, I'll push it out to CPAN.

That appears better - I'm working with CPAN packages packaged into rpms so I have additional dependancy issues - in this case I have explicitly blocked the POE deps. However it definitely builds OK without pulling the extra bits in. ok, good news -- that's now 0.07 ;)
