Subject: No license information
There is no license declared for this module. I grepped for "copy" and "licen" as well as manually reading through all of the documentation. Without a license statement, this code is not freely distributable. Please, please remedy this omission! I would like to use this code, but the rest of my project is Artistic licensed and I cannot include Data::Flow without a compatible license... -- Chris

This module is no longer maintained by me - perhaps it is orphaned. If someone wants to fix this - please proceed. Cheers, jas. On 3/9/06, Guest via RT <bug-Data-Flow@rt.cpan.org> wrote: Show quoted text

Changing the license requires the OK of all current and former contributors. Can you at offer your approval to change it to be Artistic/GPL licensed? And even better, can you document who are the other contributors, if any? Thanks much, Chris

Yes - you have my ok. Ilya Zakharevich wrote it to use the C::Scan. I would be REALLY surprised if he didn't release it under the Artistic license!! It is likely that some future release didn't include the license file. Please check earlier releases. Cheers, jas.

That's excellent advice. I'll do just that. Thanks. Chris

Please do not. All my modules are "as Perl itself"; but I rarely state this explicitly (lazyness only). Yours, Ilya

OK, that's good to know. I'll discontinue my research into the history of Data::Flow and just wait for a properly licensed distribution to be uploaded to CPAN. Thanks very much, Chris

Sorry - 'please do not' - what? Chris is asking whether someone can put a copy of Data::Flow on CPAN with an explicit license? I no longer have the code available and cannot make such a release. Who should? Show quoted text

Cheers, jas.
