Subject: Apparent problem with calculating indeterminate length
Hello,
We have been using the ASN-1 converter extensively in our corporation,
and so far have found this a great tool for reading and processing ASN.1
data in perl.
Unfortunately, the latest data file we tried the conversion process on
has nested objects of indeterminate length. The data is able to parse
successfully, but falls over on decode directly after trying to
determine the length of the first object. The data appears from a
asn_dump to be properly constructed ASN.1 data.
Please find attached a tar ball containing the data file, ASN.1
definition used, the asn_dump and the error message returned. I was
wondering with this information, if you would be able to tell me why
this data is not decoding.
Please let me know if you require more information, Geoff.
