Subject: Test/More.pm not found at make Makefile.PL time
I am on RH 7.2, running perl 5.6.1: barnett [179] perl -v This is perl, v5.6.1 built for i386-linux Copyright 1987-2001, Larry Wall [snip] I attempted to install each of the versions listed above (29, 28, 23, 22, 21, 20), but was unsuccessful. Each of these versions issued the following message at "perl Makefile.PL" time: barnett [182] pwd /home/barnett/FTP/in/Net-DNS-0.29 barnett [183] !pe perl Makefile.PL You appear to be directly connected to the Internet. I have some tests that try to query live nameservers. Do you want to enable these tests? [y] Warning: prerequisite Test::More failed to load: Can't locate Test/More.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.1/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.1 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at (eval 13) line 3, <STDIN> line 1. Writing Makefile for Net::DNS I have been unable to locate the module "Test::More" after looking on CPAN, and downloading the "Test", and "Test::Harness" modules. The README for each of the versions listed above indicated that Perl 5.6.1 is recent enough to use this new version. I was able to build and test version 0.19, as it does not require the Test::More module. Please advise where the "Test::More" module comes from. Thanks. Cheers, Dave
