The problems are probably deeper than the error messages imply. It will take someone with NT access to determine and fix the root cause for these bugs. Unfortunately that's not me: The Millennium Edition system I've been using runs the tests fine. I can think of three routes to solving NT problems, all of which involve acquiring a developer with an NT machine: 1. Someone with an NT system could debug this and supply patches. 2. Someone could donate an ssh or encrypted VNC login on an NT machine. 3. Someone could donate a copy of NT (licensed, please) to the project. I can put together a Pentium machine from spare parts. I am sending a blind copy of this message to bug-POE@rt.cpan.org so that it's entered into POE's bug tracker. -- Rocco Caputo / troc@pobox.com / poe.perl.org / poe.sf.net
Just a note: Garrett provided a patch that fixed test 10's failures. I'm not sure if/how test 6 is failing still, but I have a Windows NT license now and will be installing it after 0.2304 is released. -- Rocco Caputo - troc@pobox.com - http://poe.perl.org/
