This is perl, v5.6.1 built for i386-freebsd
FreeBSD thetasigma.com 4.6-STABLE FreeBSD 4.6-STABLE
When compiling Imager.c, make errors out with:

Both freetype1 and freetype2 are installed.
was able to install by using
Show quoted text> IM_MANUAL=1 IM_CFLAGS=-I/usr/local/include/freetype2/freetype perl Makefile.PL
and answering the manual questions, saying yes to everything except win32, gif, TT and ungif.
