What tool did create this tarball? Can it be replaced easily?

This was created with Gnu tar 1.13 running under Win98. I'll look in to this and get back to you. Clearly this package should be useable under Linux. Thanks for pointing this out. Mark Winder. Show quoted text

I believe this is fixed in version 0.061 which I have just uploaded. Mark Winder.
