Can this be easily fixed or is it a major hassle?
I made the tarball using Microsoft's nmake, and gzip and tar from the GnuWin32 project (http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/). I'm pretty much stuck on Windows systems, and haven't found a way to fix the permissions.
