This seems very promising but alas I'm unable to install it. I'm getting
errors on the make. I'm using AIX4.3.3 ML11 VAC 4.4.0.3 PHP.5.1.1. It
looks like my problem is non-ansi comments:

I wasn't getting these with an earlier PHP::Interpreter 1.0.1 but had an
issue with the line 697 concerning the int i. I see that's fixed not but
have the comments issue.
I'll see if I can 'fix' these and then get you the patch.
