Given that this module exists since five years and is used in many applications, notably all urpm* shipped with urpmi on CPAN and others that are available from Mandriva's CVS (including the OS installer and many GUI tools from the Mandriva Control Center), backward compatibility issues prevent renaming. (Also, I think this name is quite appropriate, for the same historical raisons.)
