More on the marclint error report. The following errors generated from marclint were incorrect:

1)
246: Indicator 2 must be 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 but it's " "
Not true, 2nd indicator can be blank
2)
240: Subfield _a is not allowed.
240: Subfield _l is not allowed.
Wrong. Both are valid subfield for uniform title 240.
3)
260: Subfield _g is not allowed.
Date of manufacture ($g) is a valid subfield.
Additionally, indicator 2 and 3 were instituted for
intervening and latest publisher.
4)
490: Subfield _x is not allowed.
$x is valid for ISSN.
5)
020: Subfield _z is not allowed.
$z is valid for canceled ISBN. Rarely used, but older records ahve them.
6)
610: Subfield _n is not allowed.
$n is valid for part/number.
7)
630: Subfield _d is not allowed.
$d is valid for date of treaty signing.
8)
651: Indicator 2 must be 0, 1, 2, 5, 6 or 7 but it's "4"
2nd indicator can be 4, when it's 4, there should be a
subfield 2.
