A nice start to a developement tool may be a Plugin that uses Maypole ::Plugin::Component and add a component to the header template to pop up Nicely formatted dubugging information in a new browser window.
Good info would would be fancy SQL executed , the HTML for Form inputs of whick i would like to copy and paste to a custom method or template to tweak them a little.
In other words, I want to harness the work Maypole can do for me when it can not do it all exactly right. Currently there is sort of an all or nothing. Refactoring and hooks are going to help a lot and a simple Developement plugin to, among otherthings, provide a nicely formatted view of the variables in the process at each phase would be a nice touch.
