Hello, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on a problem I'm having with running 'make check' on HTML::Tidy. It's failing on the venus test: t/venus..............ok 1/3 # Failed test 'Cooked stuff looks like what we expected' # in t/venus.t at line 34. # Structures begin differing at: # $got->[47] = ' <center>' # $expected->[47] = ' <address>' # Looks like you failed 1 test of 3. t/venus..............dubious Test returned status 1 (wstat 256, 0x100) DIED. FAILED test 3 Failed 1/3 tests, 66.67% okay The make completes without error: [root@delldev1 HTML-Tidy-1.06]# make gcc -c -I. -I/usr/include/tidy -I/usr/local/include/tidy -I/sw/include/tidy -fno-strict-aliasing -pipe -I/usr/local/include -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -I/usr/include/gdbm -O2 -DVERSION=\"1.06\" -DXS_VERSION=\"1.06\" -fpic "-I/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.7/i686-linux/CORE" Tidy.c Running Mkbootstrap for HTML::Tidy () chmod 644 Tidy.bs rm -f blib/arch/auto/HTML/Tidy/Tidy.so LD_RUN_PATH="" gcc -shared -L/usr/local/lib Tidy.o -o blib/arch/auto/HTML/Tidy/Tidy.so -ltidy chmod 755 blib/arch/auto/HTML/Tidy/Tidy.so cp Tidy.bs blib/arch/auto/HTML/Tidy/Tidy.bs chmod 644 blib/arch/auto/HTML/Tidy/Tidy.bs cp bin/webtidy blib/script/webtidy /usr/local/bin/perl "-MExtUtils::MY" -e "MY->fixin(shift)" blib/script/webtidy Manifying blib/man3/HTML::Tidy::Message.3 Manifying blib/man3/HTML::Tidy.3 I'm using a custom build perl on RHEL3, but this problem also occurred with the version distributed with the OS.
