Subject: Not really quiet
I want to check links with crontab using checklink -q -r -l http://www.me http://www.me Obviously "-q" doesn't mean "quiet" but "not so verbose". It would be great if I could instruct checklink to just display hard errors, i.e. 404.

--quiet has been made more quiet in CVS rev 4.37: http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/perl/modules/W3C/LinkChecker/bin/checklink
Fixed in 4.3.
