Subject: Make Note HTML Anchor's in to clickable 'Purple Numbers'
I found my self wanting to send a link to a particular paragraph (one with no note) in a page, and I knew you must have anchors in the HTML, so I searched, found, and linked. But if each 'graph had had a purple number ( see http://www.eekim.com/software/purple/purple.html ) this would have been easy. And I would use AnnoCPAN even more :)

I'm ambivalent about this idea. On one hand I understand they can be useful, but on the other hand I find them a bit ugly and I personally don't need them that much. I think I'd add them but make them a user-configurable preference; the question is whether they should be on or off by default. I'm leaning towards off.

I'd say liitle '#' marks wouldn't clutter the page any more than the 'click to add a note' icons, (which I think they should go right next too). They wouldn't have to be full blow purple number to be of use. Of course this is your show not mine, so ....
