Subject: Notes notification confused by multiple Perl versions
http://www.annocpan.org/~NWCLARK/perl-5.8.4 says that there's a note in perlobj. But http://www.annocpan.org/~NWCLARK/perl-5.8.4/pod/perlobj.pod shows no note. The note is actually in the 5.8.5 versions. It seems that a note in one version of the perl docs is reported to be in all versions.

Actually this is another bug: http://rt.cpan.org/NoAuth/Bug.html?id=13498 . Notes are (supposed) to be independent of version by default; they are propagated to other versions. They may be "hidden" for the versions that don't apply. This note should show up in other versions of perl, but it didn't due to that other bug :( However, it is not unreasonable to ask that the note count should only include those notes that are visible for a given version, in any case.
