was hidden by the author and is listed among the recent notes. That can
cause confusion. Same applies to RSS feeds.
The trick is that the note may be hidden for some versions of a pod but
not for others. If that's the case, the link might still be legitimate
if it pointed to a pod for which the note is not hidden.
