Subject: Posting code snippets
It would be very useful to be able to post code snippets without breaking the formatting. Currently, indents, spaces and newlines are getting clobbered. This makes comments with code samples hard to read.

I posted this days ago, but as a comment instead of a reply, and I didn't notice that people other than me can't see it: Yes, I agree. I'll add something like a <code> tag soon. I'm not sure about free HTML, though. Note, however, that two newlines in a row get turned into a <p> tag, which is sometimes useful.
