Subject: | Unclear license |
PDF-API2-XS-1.001.tar.gz archive contains files that declare a license like this:
lib/PDF/API2/XS.pm: LGPLv2+
LICENSE: LGPLv2
Makefile.PL: LGPLv2
README: LGPLv2
The distinction is in the permitted versions of the Lesser General Public License. While lib/PDF/API2/XS.pm reads:
This program is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify it under
the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License as published by the Free
Software Foundation, either version 2.1 of the License, or (at your option) any
later version.
LICENSE reads:
This is free software, licensed under:
The GNU Lesser General Public License, Version 2.1, February 1999
Is this discrepancy ('only 2.1', or '2.1, or any later') intentional? If it's mistake, could you please clarify the intended license and, when suitable, release a new version with the corrections?
