Subject: cpan.org Index problem with versions of a module?
Hi, Two days ago I uploaded a new version of Archive::BagIt (v0.63). Archive::BagIt contains other related modules that are tagged with the same version. Today, as of 9:00am I received ff. package-list (excerpt of https://www.cpan.org/modules/02packages.details.txt, CPAN reported "Database was generated on Mon, 03 Aug 2020 08:55:54 GMT")): […] Archive::BagIt 0.062 A/AR/ART/Archive-BagIt-0.062.tar.gz Archive::BagIt::App 0.049 R/RJ/RJESCHMI/Archive-BagIt-App-0.049.tar.gz Archive::BagIt::App::Verify 0.049 R/RJ/RJESCHMI/Archive-BagIt-App-0.049.tar.gz Archive::BagIt::Base 0.062 A/AR/ART/Archive-BagIt-0.062.tar.gz Archive::BagIt::DotBagIt 0.063 A/AR/ART/Archive-BagIt-0.063.tar.gz Archive::BagIt::Fast 0.063 A/AR/ART/Archive-BagIt-0.063.tar.gz Archive::BagIt::Plugin::Algorithm::MD5 0.063 A/AR/ART/Archive-BagIt-0.063.tar.gz Archive::BagIt::Plugin::Algorithm::SHA512 0.063 A/AR/ART/Archive-BagIt-0.063.tar.gz Archive::BagIt::Plugin::Manifest::MD5 0.063 A/AR/ART/Archive-BagIt-0.063.tar.gz Archive::BagIt::Plugin::Manifest::SHA512 0.063 A/AR/ART/Archive-BagIt-0.063.tar.gz Archive::BagIt::Role::Algorithm 0.063 A/AR/ART/Archive-BagIt-0.063.tar.gz Archive::BagIt::Role::Manifest 0.063 A/AR/ART/Archive-BagIt-0.063.tar.gz Archive::BagIt::Role::Plugin 0.063 A/AR/ART/Archive-BagIt-0.063.tar.gz […] The problem here is that the main module is listed in the older version 0.62, but the sub-modules are already listed in the newer version v0.63. If you check the kwalitee-site, you see that all modules should have the same version: https://cpants.cpanauthors.org/release/ART/Archive-BagIt-0.063 If the issue is not related to CPAN, please, could you give me a hint to fix this strange behaviour? In the mean With best regards Andreas
