t/03speed.t seems to fail randomly --- see http://matrix.cpantesters.org/?dist=XML-Filter-Cache%200.03 for an overview. Just a wild guess: XML::SAX is used here, and there are different possible SAX parsers available, so it's possible that one of these parsers generate the unexpected output (in this case: without an XML preamble).
