Thank you for this report. Unfortunately in order to do anything with this I will have to see if I can build a macOS 10.12 (Sierra?) system and get cperl 5.26.5 running on it. When I get that far I need to try to duplicate an error deep in Apple's include files. So my response won't be fast, I'm afraid. At this point all I can tell you is that: * It DOES install and run under cperl 5.28.0, but I have no idea which version of macOS I was running when I did that install. * It DOES pass tests under cperl 5.28.0 (yes, same version) and macOS 10.15.3 Catalina. Can you tell me which version of XCode you are running? A full-on attempt to duplicate the problem will need the correct XCode.
