We have the following bug reported to the Debian package of Math-Prime-Util-GMP, c.f. https://bugs.debian.org/951004 It doesn't seem to be a bug in the packaging, so you may want to take a look. Thanks! I fixed it in github similar to the second patch (the first one is wrong, but the second one is essentially the same as what I have).
