Subject: Reinstate 5.8 compat?
With the newest XML-LibXML-Simple one of my CI builds started to fail, because XML-LibXML-Simple cannot be built anymore for perl 5.8: https://travis-ci.org/eserte/bbbike/builds/637610518 Actually it seems that the easiest solution is to remove the "use 5.010;" line from Makefile.PL. make test is still running OK. I am moving to 5.10 or even 5.12 syntax for my modules... but for you, of course I will change it back to 5.8. Sorry for the hassle.
