Not a bug per se, but rather a documentation issue. The perltidy page (https://metacpan.org/pod/distribution/Perl-Tidy/bin/perltidy) has no install instructions other than those generated by metacpan, which says "cpanm perltidy". This doesn't work, because there is no "perltidy" on metacpan:
cpanm perltidy
! Finding perltidy on cpanmetadb failed.
! Finding perltidy () on mirror http://www.cpan.org failed.
! Couldn't find module or a distribution perltidy
Taking a hint from the perltidy URL, "cpanm Perl-Tidy" doesn't work, either:
cpanm Perl-Tidy
! Finding Perl-Tidy on cpanmetadb failed.
! Finding Perl-Tidy () on mirror http://www.cpan.org failed.
! Couldn't find module or a distribution Perl-Tidy
What does work, though it's not documented — for the perltidy binary — is "cpanm Perl::Tidy", but the metacpan page for that (https://metacpan.org/pod/Perl::Tidy) documents the Perl::Tidy module, which is different from the perltidy page (first link, above).
Please put, in the *perltidy* documentation page (https://metacpan.org/pod/distribution/Perl-Tidy/bin/perltidy), install instructions that include "cpanm Perl::Tidy", or otherwise mention that the binary comes with installing the Perl::Tidy module. Thank you.
