Hi,
I am using CAM::PDf v. 1.60 to merge several documents (PDF-1.6) stored in a database and fill some of the fields with data.
However, whether I fill the form fields, merge the documents without filling fields, or only run one document through without filling any fields, when I open the file returned (through the web browser) in Adobe Reader (v 2019.021.20048) , I get the warning: “This document enabled extended features in Adobe Acrobat Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document.”
The primary extended feature in these documents is digital signatures – since I don’t create or use them, I’m not sure what other features there may be.
If the document is set to not allow changes to form fields to be saved, the warning does not appear, but then of course the filled data does not appear, either, and the end users can’t enter additional data and save it.
Thanks!
