Please see http://matrix.cpantesters.org/?dist=Dir-Flock+0.04 --- the linux column is a mixture of passes and fails. I don't see a pattern --- on my smokers it only passes constantly on centos6 and centos7 systems, but has fails and passes on various debian, ubuntu and fedora systems.
