Even though it's a very good suggestion, i'm currently unable to take the lead writing it due to a lack of time. And then, you'd not just have to write FR.pm, but also adapt tests and similar stuff for french input. Many things for DT::F::N have been written with english language in mind, so there might be even more (unexpected) obstacles to encounter :-).
