Subject: Status of dist?
There was a new version (1.02) released a couple of months ago but with no change to the POD and no relevant entry in the Changes file. However there seems to be a lot of extra code around version 2 of the ACME protocol - something which is now needed as various features of version 1 are being retired. However, the other change I see in 1.02 is the x_deprecated value set in the meta data, which is really rather concerning. None of these changes appear in the official github repo, AFAICS. What is the actual status of this dist, please? Is it really deprecated? Will the v2 work continue? Either way it would be good to see a message in the POD and/or the repo to let the users know. I just switched to Crypt::LE, similar api and works.

I too ended up moving to Crypt::LE a few months back. It has proven to be reliable so far. It looks like Protocol::ACME may have reached the end of the road.
