Often that traceback is invaluable in pointing me at the exact location of a problem, but certainly doesn't need to be there in a minimal case.
Won't close this until I'm sure the new version is working for everyone out there that had 0.1.8 reported working.
I think my 'test' trees have likely gotten "polluted" by performing test installs but not disallowing pulling down of dependencies from CPAN. Sigh.
