Subject: | Odd addition of Statistics::ChiSquare dependency & advertised test t/chisquare.t not present |
The changes file and META.* both indicate a new dependency on Statistics::ChiSquare, however, there is still no code in 1.52 that actually uses it:
https://metacpan.org/diff/file?target=VIPUL/Crypt-Random-1.52/&source=VIPUL%2FCrypt-Random-1.51
I'd hazard a guess that somebody forgot to run "make manifest" somewhere after adding the new test, and it simply wasn't shipped in the new version.
I'd also suggest that the Statistics::ChiSquare dependency shouldn't be advertised as a "runtime requirement", as its only consumed in (to be shipped) tests.
