Subject: Bundled another CPAN dist
Hi! Please don't bundle other distributions into yours. You can include it as a prerequisite and if there are issues installing, work with the author to improve it. This type of bundling should not be done, though. https://metacpan.org/release/GRICHTER/Perl-LanguageServer-0.9 Visiting that link, you'll see that you've effectively included an unauthorized release of someone else's module. If there's anything I can do to help you fix up the build of the P::LS module, please let me know. Thanks, Chase

Hi, I tried to contact the author, but he is not responding. The module published on CPAN is 4 years old and is crashing, while the version on github is fully working. So after I didn't get any response from the original author, I bundle the working version with my module, so people don't have to pull it from github and a simple cpan install will work. Anything I can do here to improve the situation? Gerald Show quoted text

There is still no new version of Compiler-Lexer on CPAN, so I have to keep the bundled version and close this issue.
