Subject: Decreasing version number
In perl version semantics, 0.32.1 is smaller than 0.32 (because 0.32.1 translates to a float 0.032001, which is obviously smaller than 0.32).

This seems odd to me. I see this as being more precise and therefore larger and not smaller. But I changed my approach and should be solved moving forward.
