Hi there,
Germans are getting lazy. Yesterday Berlin passed a law to make March
8th a permanent holiday, and May 8th for a single time in 2020.

It's not entirely clear whether March 8th will be a public holiday in
Berlin in 2019 already, that's in six weeks - but an older article[1]
suggests it will be indeed. In case of doubt, re-check with the official
publication, where ever to find it.
