Subject: Remove Bio::SeqIO::entrezgene from BioPerl
After update to Bio-ASN1-EntrezGene-1.72, BioPerl and Bio-ASN1-EntrezGene conflict on installation since they both now install Bio::SeqIO::entrezgene. Please remove Bio::SeqIO::entrezgene from BioPerl to allow the install to complete without errors.

Thank you for the report. That module got removed from BioPerl version 1.7.3 which fixes this issue.
