Subject: | new() eats the warn() function's output under Mac OS X 10.4 |
After calling XML::Smart->new(), warn() stops emmitting output on Mac OS X 10.4. This doesn't happen on a perl install on a debian system I have access to. This is with XML-Smart-1.6.9.
test script:
##START##
#!/usr/bin/perl
use strict;
use warnings;
use XML::Smart;
warn "loading (warn)"; # this displays
my $xml = XML::Smart->new();
warn "loaded (warn)"; # this doesn't display on the mac, but does on the linux box
print "Loaded (print)\n"; #this displays on either platform
##END##
