I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both POE and POE::Component::IRC many times, but to no avail. I always get this error when I try to run a script: Can't locate object method "new" via package "POE::filter::irc" (perhaps you forgot to load "POE::Filter::IRC"?) at C:/Perl/lib/POE/Component/IRC.pm line 688. POE::Kernel's run() method was never called. My OS is Windows XP, my Perl version is 5.8.4, and I am using POE::Component::IRC version 2.9.
