Subject: | false PASS reports for bgerror2.t |
bgerror2.t and tkHijack_bgerror2.t had been reported to FAIL because an expected error was not being generated. This has now been patched and should PASS in the next release. (#119754)
However, I found that these tests (before fixing them) would still PASS on a Mac (at one time--I haven't been able to get it to since then, maybe it was from using Tk 8.5.9), and there are various reports from CPAN Testers (see versions 0.94 and prior) also reporting PASS for these.
At the moment I don't know what might have been responsible other than possibly using older Tk (8.5.9 for Mac).
An actual PASS when run manually should print "Switch value is '1'" to stdout.
