In preparation for the release of perl-5.28.0 in May 2018, I have been testing a selected subset of CPAN distributions against monthly development releases in the perl-5.27.* series.
Today I attempted to install this distribution against perl-5.27.10 on FreeBSD-11.0 using 'cpanm' as the installer and clang-3.8.0 as the compiler. (I first installed 'pkg install imlib2'.) I got errors in two test files. Please see the attachment for an excerpt of the cpanm build.log. Please see the other attachment for relevant 'perl -V' information.
Other CPAN distributions depend on Image-Imlib2. We cannot assess their perl-5.28-readiness until we can install Image-Imlib2. So a new, corrected CPAN release will be appreciated.
