Subject: Courriel extras?

Courriel! -- nice work, Dave, much needed and appreciated. SUGGESTIONS (not bugs): 1. Separate dedicated method to extract "Content-Transfer-Encoding" from Header, as many other significant header bits seem to enjoy, and this omission thus somewhat glaring as perhaps the most important of all since unless pre-known and dealt to by a decoder before splitting out the body may well cause the body parsing to mysteriously fail entirely making the software mistakenly look like 'another of those!'. (My emails typically come as mixed base64 and quoted-printable paragraphs within same T/Bird file). 2. Separate dedicated method to iterate all Headers and report both Names & Values of the pairs, so that the wanted Name may be regex-scraped rather than subjected to UNDEF from a Mondayitis guessed Name like "Content-transfer-Encoding" (complete with typo). None of this is to say I am not over the moon at being rescued from Email::Simple and many other MIME::XXX monstrosities as well as my own even worse historical efforts. So thanks again. Please IGNORE. Just found 'part->encoding()' and that pre-decoding not necessary after all. My mistake. Going round in confused circles. T/Bird translates QP-encodings with inner spaces multiplied which trips up all parsers tried. Once those spurious extra spacings pre-compacted it all comes back on track for the parsers, including your beauty. Sean Show quoted text
