Subject: Tests fail (with latest MIME::Types?)
My test systems started to report the following failure: ... # Failed test 'MIME type is image/png' # at t/3-uri.t line 20. # got: 'image/vnd.mozilla.apng' # expected: 'image/png' # Looks like you failed 1 test of 16. t/3-uri.t ................. Dubious, test returned 1 (wstat 256, 0x100) Failed 1/16 subtests ... This happens with the latest MIME::Types, version 2.16. Thank you for your detailed information. Unfortunately, I am very busy in the moment and will probably not be able to solve the bug reported short term. Maybe, I can find someone willing to assist or take maintainership for this distribution. Best, -wolfgang

MIME::Types 2.17 is out and fixed the problem. So the only thing what could be done is to increase the minimum MIME::Types prerequisite version in your distribution, or (even better) set the version only if an installed MIME::Types 2.16 (the problematic version) is detected. But the issue is now not that critical at the moment.
