Bug #124223 for CPAN-Mini-Webserver: cpan or wget cannot receive file from CPAN-Mini-Webserver

Dear Team, I have setup a mini cpan server, so far so good: root@ph09na3:~ # minicpan_webserver CPAN::Mini::Webserver: You can connect to your server at http://localhost:2963/ Accessing it results in this error: root@ph09nb1:~ # /usr/bin/wget 'http://ph09na3:2963/root/minicpan/authors/01mailrc.txt' --2018-01-26 14:22:12-- http://ph09na3:2963/root/minicpan/authors/01mailrc.txt Resolving ph09na3 (ph09na3)... 9.153.164.213 Connecting to ph09na3 (ph09na3)|9.153.164.213|:2963... connected. HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 2018-01-26 14:22:12 ERROR 404: (no description). The file /root/minicpan/authors/01mailrc.txt does exist on the cpan server ... Proxy is set off. cpan CPAN results in this error: cpan CPAN Fetching with HTTP::Tiny: http://ph09na3:2963/root/minicpan/authors/01mailrc.txt.gz HTTP::Tiny failed with code[503] message[Service Unavailable] Proxy authentication needed! (Note: to permanently configure username and password run o conf proxy_user your_username o conf proxy_pass your_password ) Username: ...... putting http://ph09na3:2963 into my browser brings up the CPAN gui ...
