At the moment there are some backup files in the distribution: https://metacpan.org/source/ADUITSIS/IPv6-Address-0.207 https://metacpan.org/source/ADUITSIS/IPv6-Address-0.207/lib/IPv6 If you added ~$ to MANIFEST.SKIP, they would not get included in the distribution.
