I first ran into this issue building my docker image. The downloaded module file runs into an unexpected EOF. Log from the docker build command output: Step 14/18 : RUN cpanm --installdeps --notest . Failed to fetch distribution List-MoreUtils-XS-0.426 [...snip...] This is running off of the Perl docker image *5.22.**2*, which is on *Debian 8.9 "Jessie"*. Hi, I found the exact same issue but running CentOS 7 and as building docker images It's not OS dependent, it's something with cpan. I had to use the previous version to make it work again, I simply installed it with cpanm before the step that failed as a work around RUN cpanm List::MoreUtils::XS@0.423 Best regards Johan Ryberg

I thought that it's not OS dependent was clear with my first answer :( I strongly recommend to use 0.425_001 instead of 0.423.

There seems to be a slight issue with the CPAN mirror being up-to-date. People are looking into this as we speak, but for now, you can get around this with: cpanm https://cpan.metacpan.org/authors/id/R/RE/REHSACK/List-MoreUtils-XS-0.426.tar.gz Thanks, Chase
